Costa Calida

The Costa Calida, Spain’s Warm Coast, is located in the farthest eastern corner of Andalucia province and, unsurprisingly, takes its name from being one of the warmest and driest regions in Spain, boasting around 320 days of sunshine per year, and temperatures of close to 40 degrees in the height of summer. The region offers plenty of opportunities for adventure, with a number of activities available including flying a microlight or horseriding. Fun days out at theme parks, impressive ruins, nature reserves and getting the ultimate all-over tan at Spain’s largest naturist resort are just some of the treats that this relatively unspoilt stretch of coastline has in store.
